Before moving to the Sierra foothills in 1999, Mr. Maddux spent ten years with two prominent Bay Area medical malpractice defense firms, Craddick, Candland & Conti and Sheuerman, Martini & Tabari, representing such clients as UCSF Medical Center, Stanford Medical Center and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Permanente Medical Group. Prior to joining Reynolds Tilbury Woodward LLP, Mr. Maddux practiced law in Auburn, focusing on real estate, business, personal injury and medical malpractice litigation and appellate work. Mr. Maddux has long had an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating for legal competence and integrity.
At the end of 2016, Mr. Maddux retired from full-time law practice and became Of Counsel to Reynolds Tilbury Woodward. As such, he provides experienced counsel to the firm and continues to represent select clients in areas of his expertise.
Mr. Maddux earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley and his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law.
